Terms & Conditions
The terms on which you book a seat at a Mixology Night.
Last updated: 7 October 2026
The short version. A ticket is one seat on one date. You must be 18 or over and bring photo ID. You can move your booking free of charge up to 7 days before your night. We cannot serve alcohol to anyone who is drunk. If we cancel, you get your money back.
1. Who we are
Mixology Nights are run under the Kensington Cocktails name by Kensington Cocktails Events Ltd (“we”, “us”). Company registration details will be published here before bookings open. You can contact us at hello@kensingtoncocktails.co.uk.
2. Your booking
- Each ticket is one seat at the Mixology Night on the date shown on the ticket.
- Your booking is confirmed, and a contract between you and us is made, when we email your order confirmation.
- Prices are in pounds sterling and include any taxes that apply. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout.
- If a booking is taken in error, for example because of an obvious pricing mistake, we may cancel it and refund you in full.
3. What is included
- A class of about three hours led by a professional mixologist.
- The ingredients and equipment to make ten mini cocktails of approximately 60 to 80 ml each, and still water.
- The cocktail menu is chosen by the mixologist and varies from night to night.
- An alcohol-free version of each drink is available on request, at the same ticket price.
- Pizza is included only with the “Mixology Night + Bottomless Pizza” ticket. It is served during the evening until 9.45pm, for the ticket holder to eat on the premises.
4. Age and identification
- Mixology Nights are for people aged 18 or over. It is against the law for anyone under 18 to buy or attempt to buy alcohol.
- We operate Challenge 25. If you look under 25 you will be asked for a valid passport, a photocard driving licence or a card bearing the PASS hologram.
- If you cannot show valid identification when asked, you will be refused entry and no refund is due.
5. Responsible service of alcohol
- Classes take place at a venue licensed under the Licensing Act 2003, and alcohol is supplied under that licence.
- Under section 141 of the Licensing Act 2003 it is an offence to sell alcohol to a person who is drunk. If a guest is or appears to be drunk, on arrival or during the night, we will stop serving them alcohol, offer alcohol-free drinks and may ask them to leave. No refund is due.
- You may not bring your own alcohol into the venue or take drinks away.
- Please do not drive after the class.
6. Allergies and dietary requirements
Tell us about any allergy or dietary requirement in the order notes at checkout or by email at least 48 hours before your night. Allergen information for the drinks and food served is available on the night. Drinks and food are prepared in an environment where allergens are present, so we cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces. If you are in any doubt, ask before you eat or drink.
7. Changing or cancelling your booking
- A ticket is for a leisure activity on a specific date. For that reason the 14-day cancellation period that applies to most online purchases does not apply to it (regulation 28(1)(h) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013).
- You may move your booking to another available night free of charge up to 7 days before your date. Email us with your order number.
- Within 7 days of your date, bookings cannot be moved or refunded, but you may give your seat to another person aged 18 or over.
- The class starts at 7pm. If you arrive after 7.30pm we may be unable to admit you. No refund is due for late arrival or for not attending.
8. If we change or cancel a night
- We may change the mixologist, the menu or the running order. Changes of this kind do not entitle you to a refund where the night remains substantially as described.
- We may cancel or move a night, for example if the venue becomes unavailable or too few seats are sold. If we do, we will tell you as soon as we can and you may choose a full refund of the ticket price or a seat on another night.
- We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you have incurred, except where the law says otherwise.
9. Conduct and safety
- You will be working with glassware, ice, citrus and bar tools. Please follow the instructions of the mixologist and the venue staff at all times.
- Flame and flair demonstrations are performed by the mixologist only.
- We and the venue may refuse entry to, or ask to leave, anyone whose behaviour is abusive, unsafe or in breach of the venue’s rules. No refund is due.
- You are responsible for your personal belongings.
10. Photography and filming
We may take photographs and short videos during the night for our website and social media. If you would rather not appear, tell the host when you arrive and we will keep you out of shot.
11. Our responsibility to you
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any right you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to a service carried out with reasonable care and skill.
- Subject to that, our liability to you is limited to the price you paid for your booking, and we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you booked.
12. Your personal data
We use your personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy.
13. Complaints
If something was not right, email hello@kensingtoncocktails.co.uk with your order number. We aim to reply within five working days.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there.
