Who we are

This website and the Mixology Nights are run under the Kensington Cocktails name by Kensington Cocktails Events Ltd, which is the controller of your personal data. Company registration details will be published here before bookings open. Contact: hello@kensingtoncocktails.co.uk.

What we collect

• Booking details: your name, email address, phone number, billing address and what you booked.
• Dietary and allergy information that you choose to give us.
• Messages you send us by email.
• Technical data: your IP address and the cookies needed to run the basket, checkout and account pages.

We do not see or store your card details. Payments are processed by our payment provider.

Why we use it and our legal basis

• To take and manage your booking: performance of our contract with you.
• To keep accounting and tax records: legal obligation.
• To run the night safely, answer questions and prevent misuse of the site: our legitimate interests.
• To cater for an allergy or dietary need: your explicit consent, which you give by telling us. You can withdraw it at any time.
• To send you news and offers: only with your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Photographs and video

We may take photographs and short videos at our nights for our website and social media, relying on our legitimate interest in promoting them. Tell the host if you do not want to appear, or email us to have an image removed.

Who we share it with

• The venue and the mixologist, who receive first names and dietary information for the night.
• Our payment provider, website host and email provider, who process data on our instructions.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

• Booking and payment records: six years, for tax purposes.
• Dietary and allergy information: deleted within 30 days of your night.
• Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: 12 months.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies that are necessary for the basket, checkout and account pages to work. At the date of this policy we do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent where required.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw consent. Email hello@kensingtoncocktails.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
