FAQ
Questions, answered
Do I need any experience?
None at all. The class starts with how to hold a shaker and builds from there.
How many drinks do I make?
Ten, across four rounds. Each one is a mini cocktail of 60 to 80 ml.
Ten cocktails sounds like a lot. Is it?
In total it is roughly what you would drink in three standard cocktails, spread over three hours with water on every table. You never have to finish a glass, and every drink has an alcohol-free version.
Which cocktails will we make?
The menu changes from night to night and is chosen by the mixologist, so we do not publish it in advance. Expect a mix of well-known classics across different spirits and techniques.
Can I come on my own?
Yes. Tables are mixed, they rotate during the night, and solo guests are seated together.
Can we sit together as a group?
Book your seats in the same order and we will start you at the same tables. For six or more, ask us about a private night.
Where is it?
At a licensed late-night venue in Kensington, London. We email the full address and directions before your night.
What time should I arrive?
Doors open at 6.45pm and the class starts at 7pm sharp. If you arrive after 7.30pm we may not be able to let you join.
Is there an age limit?
The night is for over-18s only. We operate Challenge 25: if you look under 25, you will be asked for a passport, a photocard driving licence or a PASS card. No ID means no entry and no refund.
What does bottomless pizza mean?
On the pizza ticket, pizza is served by the slice throughout the evening until 9.45pm and you can eat as much as you like. It is for you, on the night: no sharing with guests on the class-only ticket and no takeaway.
I have an allergy or a dietary requirement.
Tell us in the order notes at checkout, or by email at least 48 hours before. Allergen information for every drink and pizza is available on the night. Drinks and food are prepared where allergens are present, so we cannot guarantee that anything is free from traces.
I do not drink alcohol. Can I still come?
Yes. Every cocktail has an alcohol-free version made with the same techniques. Tell your mixologist when you arrive.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
You can move to another night free of charge up to 7 days before your date. Within 7 days, you can give your seat to someone else. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.
What should I wear?
Smart casual, with shoes you can stand in. There will be ice, citrus and the occasional splash.
Is the venue accessible?
Please email us before you book so that we can confirm the access arrangements for your date.
