Our policy
Age & responsible drinking
Ten cocktails, sensibly: how the night is designed and what the law asks of us.
Over-18s only. We operate Challenge 25. Please bring a passport, a photocard driving licence or a PASS card.
How much will I drink?
You make ten mini cocktails of 60 to 80 ml each over three hours. Together they contain about six units of alcohol, roughly the same as three standard cocktails. The exact amount depends on the menu for the night.
The NHS advises adults not to drink more than 14 units a week on a regular basis, and to spread them over three or more days. You can read the guidance on the NHS website.
What we do
- Every drink is measured. This is not an all-you-can-drink event.
- Still water is free and on every table all night.
- Every cocktail has an alcohol-free version. Just ask.
- You never have to finish a glass.
- The class is paced over three hours, and pizza is available on the pizza ticket.
When we stop serving
It is an offence under section 141 of the Licensing Act 2003 to sell alcohol to a person who is drunk. If a guest is or appears to be drunk, we will stop serving them alcohol, offer alcohol-free drinks and help them get home safely. This applies to everyone, including on arrival.
Getting home
Please do not drive after the class. Plan your journey by public transport or taxi before you arrive.
If you are pregnant or not drinking
The safest approach in pregnancy is not to drink alcohol at all. You are very welcome to join the class and make the alcohol-free versions.
